Newsflash

This website is being given a facelift. I now have more time to devote to the site so it will be more up to date with events and what is going on in the area. A new section of places to visit is also being compiled complete with maps.A lot of the photos I have been sent over the years are going to appear in the new gallery.

These are some of the popular restaurants on and around the Lleyn.

  • The Lion in Tudweliog. Good food and beers and children are welcome.
  • Bryn Cynan Morfa Nefyn. Good food, children's play area and large car park. Nice spot in the summer.
  • The Ship in Edern. Excellent food! No booking so get there close to 7pm to get a table. The platters to-share are almost a complete meal in themselves. The wine list is good too.
  • The Ship in Aberdaron. Good famiy food all year round.
  • The Ty Newydd in Aberdaron. Excellent location facing the sea (almost on the beach). Food used to be very good. Haven't eaten there since it changed hands. Parking tricky in the peak season.
  • Taro Deg, Pwllheli (almost opposite Leos on the Caernarfon Road. Open for lunch and evening meals. Excellent food, freshly made - especially recommend the bread and butter pudding.
  • Agelina's in Abersoch. Excellent Italian food with good service. It's popular so booking is advised. Tel: 01758-712353. Also www.angelinas.co.uk
